About this game
Split Court is a free online Pong game where the two players are not playing the same game at all. The left side plays Pong exactly as you remember it: one paddle, up and down, nothing else. The right side has no paddle. The right side plays tower defense — spending a regenerating energy pool on walls, angled deflectors and bumpers, placed anywhere on an 8x11 build grid, to bounce the same ball back across the same court and aim it past the paddle. Every part has hit points and cracks apart as the ball pounds it, so the builder is always rebuilding under pressure; every successful return pays energy back, so long rallies fund bigger structures. Angled deflectors are how the tower side attacks: line them up and you can send the ball back at an angle the paddle cannot reach in time. The ball accelerates on every hit, so a long rally always ends in someone's mistake. Play the paddle against a building AI, play the towers against a paddle AI, put two players on one device with the left side on W/S and the right side tapping the grid, or just watch the two AIs argue.
